LITERATURE AND SOCIETY

Reaching out to our audience has always been the most accomplishments. Focusing mostly on Literature, politics, society and nature I seek all avenues of making you live the experience of the average African, who has been reduced to nothing by beasts of leaders.

THE POWER AND IMPACT OF GIVING

“I was crying because I have no shoes to wear when I saw somebody with no feet…” This popular adage is just enough to stop one dead in his/her tract and reflect about the misery of this life before advancing. You may feel you have suffered or endured a lot, but remember yours was/is just a tip of the iceberg.

There are people who need your helping hand. You must not be a Bill Gates or an Oprah before giving. All you have to do is to reach deeply into your pocket and make the difference. Humanity needs your philanthropic gesture.

Here, we aren’t talking about war-torn zones; we are talking about the impacts of, poverty, misery and the HIV/AIDS pandemic. These faces you see never wished to be like this! Circumstances have pushed them to life’s extreme where return seem impossible, but today and right now you, I, we can turn the wheel around and put a smile on their faces. Believe you me that you will like to die and leave somebody in this state but you will not like to be left like this!

SOS STUDENTS is an emergent student association based in Buea and which is out to sensitise against unwanted pregnancy, premarital sex, and to fight against HIV/AIDS through the sponsorship of the needy, the infected youths and catering for the orphans of deceased youths in Boyo.
