THE POWER AND IMPACT OF GIVING
“I was crying because I have no shoes to wear when I saw somebody with no feet…” This popular adage is just enough to stop one dead in his/her tract and reflect about the misery of this life before advancing. You may feel you have suffered or endured a lot, but remember yours was/is just a tip of the iceberg.
There are people who need your helping hand. You must not be a Bill Gates or an Oprah before giving. All you have to do is to reach deeply into your pocket and make the difference. Humanity needs your philanthropic gesture.
Here, we aren’t talking about war-torn zones; we are talking about the impacts of, poverty, misery and the HIV/AIDS pandemic. These faces you see never wished to be like this! Circumstances have pushed them to life’s extreme where return seem impossible, but today and right now you, I, we can turn the wheel around and put a smile on their faces. Believe you me that you will like to die and leave somebody in this state but you will not like to be left like this!

Emile 11 yrs (right), KIDS: There is nothing like little, we need clothes, food education, scholarship and the little you can offer. We are grateful. “ayoŋnì” (Thank you!!)
Pam and Emma with some kids in Belo Sub Division, during one of their tours around the Belo village. PAM: Kids need this type of love, warmth, motherliness and care you see me dishing out to them. Don’t be an exception; you can do more than this. EMMA: They need you more than the snacks in the beer parlours and snack bars do. It’s really a choice we have to make. Just imagine that you were the one using this stream to do your house chores and even drinking the water. They deserve better than this. Yuh Jude, 12yrs (Left) and Ebenezar, 9, (right)
Gilbert (Left) and Gerald (Right) eating sugarcane during rest. GILBERT: I feel relaxed and almost fulfilled after going round the village and settling down on a “mountain” of Fufu corn. GERALD: This to me is another form of sports. I love not just the charity work but the sports and recreation involve in traveling around the village
